DITCH the meal deal and enjoy a delicious nutrient dense lunch hosted by Helen at This Girl HQ. This is ideal for anyone wanting something different for lunch and a change of scenery, plus a chance to meet like minded people.
Helen is a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist, with a focus on eating for energy and longevity. She has in depth knowledge of what nutrients we need, but also how our mindset works for changing our eating habits so we consume more nutritious foods that support all the body’s systems from hormone health to brain cognition, and heart health.
Helen has been on her own journey from being a sugar addict to the detriment of her health, to where she is now in her 50s, full of energy and passion for her business supporting others.
Each month a different theme will be discussed eg. energy giving foods, hormone balance, metabolism, gut health, foods to support mental health, bone density.

It’s time to work on your STRENGTH.
Life often presents us with challenges that test our strength and resilience, and for women, menopause can often shake things up and we don’t feel like our normal selves.
How STRONG do you really FEEL?
Strength isn’t just about muscle power and lifting weights. Bone strength isn’t measured unless we have a break or fracture. Some of us may have had a bone scan (DEXA) if osteoporosis is a risk, but most of us have no idea how strong our bones are. We do know from research that both bone and muscle straight decline with age, especially after menopause. BUT there are lots we can do with our diet and lifestyle choices.
Do you find that –
- You are emotional and irrational, easily irritated and triggered?
- You struggle to make decisions when you never used to
- You say yes too much and at your own detriment (exhaustion, resentment ensues)
- You physically feel unwell and suffer chronic conditions.
- You worry about everyone and everything.
What if there is a way to FEEL and BE stronger? I can tell you there is…..

A Day of Holistic Wellness to Nourish Your Mind, Body, and Soul.
We are going to:
- Eat well
- Drink well
- Think well
- Play well
- Rest well
You will learn which foods promote bone and muscle building.
We will tap into nature’s strength – how resilient nature can be through ALL the seasons. And we might get to hug a tree! The power of nature on our well-being has been shown to have positive effects, so we will be exploring the gardens and connecting with plants, flowers, trees, and ourselves.

What to expect on this day retreat (TBC):
- Kombucha and fresh juice shot plus a snack on arrival
Welcome and introduction session
Nature workshop – Power up and GROUND with nature
Mindfulness and self-awareness workshop – how to create more joy
Strong body, a movement session
3-course plant-based nutritious lunch
Strong MINDSET – thoughts and emotions
Cacao ceremony and yoga nidra
Quiet time for reflection
